Job Summary

Providing prompt and courteous insurance clearance services, the full-time remote Financial Access Specialist will manage insurance authorizations, verify patient eligibility, and assist with payment processing while ensuring excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the insurance clearance process and verify coverage and benefits for various medical services
• Review patient appointments and obtain necessary insurance authorizations from payer administrators
• Prepare fee estimates and discuss payment options with patients, including processing payments through EPIC

Required qualifications

• High School diploma or GED certificate
• One year of experience in a medical office setting
• An equivalent combination of education and experience may substitute for stated requirements
