Job Summary
Providing real-time support through the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, the full-time Washington State Licensed Crisis Specialist will offer clinical guidance and consultation while working remotely, focusing on high-acuity situations via phone, chat, and text platforms.
Key responsibilities
- Provide clinical guidance and consultation to Crisis Specialists during active 988 contacts
- Support responses across phone, chat, and text platforms while assisting with queue coverage
- Contribute to onboarding, coaching, and skill-building for new team members
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in social sciences or a related field
- Agency Affiliated Counselor (AAC) credential required by the end of the probationary period
- Knowledge of the King County public mental health system (preferred)
- Confidence in a high-acuity, fast-moving environment
- Strong communication skills and comfort with multiple technology platforms
