Washington State Regulatory Analyst

Job Summary

As a key liaison with the state Medicaid regulator, the full-time Washington State Regulatory Analyst will manage a high volume of regulatory communications, conduct research on healthcare regulations, and analyze legislative impacts while working remotely during Pacific Time business hours.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate regulatory communications and oversee audit deliverables with the state Medicaid regulator
• Research and analyze healthcare regulations, including those related to Medicare and Medicaid
• Draft summaries of regulatory updates and collaborate with internal teams on compliance implementation

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, a related field, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of compliance and regulatory experience
• Experience supporting Washington Apple Health Medicaid managed care programs
• Strong technical writing skills for interpreting complex regulatory requirements
• Familiarity with licensure filings and contract management within the Medicare or Medicaid industry preferred
