Job Summary
Performing detailed analytical and statistical reviews of the revenue cycle, the full-time salaried Washington State Revenue Cycle Analyst will identify and resolve billing issues while acting as an internal liaison for system applications, all in a remote capacity requiring Washington State residency.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze and resolve billing and related problems in system applications
- Develop procedures and standards, maintain dictionary tables, and create test scenarios
- Prepare reports and documentation, oversee project status, and train staff as needed
Required qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; two years post high school education preferred
- Five years of healthcare revenue cycle experience with a focus on research and analysis of billing problems
- Experience in developing and using information systems in hospital or clinic settings preferred
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPC coding preferred
- Ability to work independently, prioritize workloads, and contribute to staff development
