Washington State Senior Accountant

Job Summary

Leading month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, the fully remote Senior Accountant in Washington State will prepare journal entries, maintain general ledger accuracy, and support budgeting and financial planning processes within a growth-stage healthcare organization.

Key responsibilities

• Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports
• Analyze financial results and support external audit requirements

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial analysis
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
