Water Treatment Engineer
Job Summary
Seeking a part-time, fully remote Water Treatment Engineer to support multidisciplinary teams in planning and delivering solutions for drinking water and wastewater treatment, while managing engineering calculations and preparing technical documentation.
Key responsibilities
- Support planning and design tasks for water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Assist with engineering calculations and technical evaluations
- Prepare deliverables such as technical memoranda, reports, and design packages
Required qualifications
- BA/BS degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field with 2 years of experience or equivalent
- PhD in a related field is preferred
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or ability to obtain within 12 months
- Familiarity with modeling software such as AutoCAD, Excel, Revit, and/or GIS
- Internship or co-op experience in water/wastewater is advantageous
