Job Summary

To support a high-visibility U.S. Space Force mission, the part-time Weapon System Requirements Expert will lead site activation and installation integration planning for new space system beddowns while coordinating with various stakeholders in a hybrid remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead site activation and installation integration planning for new space system beddowns, coordinating requirements with stakeholders
• Develop, prioritize, and document facility and construction requirements tied to program fielding and support funding pathways
• Translate mission concepts and system architectures into actionable infrastructure requirements while assessing gaps and guiding cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and eight or more years of relevant experience in requirements development or infrastructure planning
• Direct USSF or Air Force space experience with weapon or defense systems and their infrastructure dependencies
• Expertise in one or more Space Force mission areas such as missile warning, space domain awareness, or satellite communications
• Hands-on experience in site activation, installation integration, or strategic basing actions
• Active TS/SCI clearance
