Web Content Strategy Manager

Job Summary

Leading large website content projects, the remote Assistant Director, Web Content will build content strategies, manage freelance writers, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality content for higher education partners.

Key responsibilities

• Build strategy and writing plans for large website redesigns while managing workflows and timelines
• Onboard and manage freelancers, providing clear direction and reviewing their content for quality
• Write on-brand, search-optimized content and produce thought leadership materials such as blogs and webinars

Required qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree, or equivalent life/work experience
• 5+ years of experience in professional writing, SEO, and AEO
• Experience with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and keyword research tools
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively in a remote environment
