Job Summary
Hands-on and technically proficient, the full-time salaried Web Development Director will manage a team of Web/UI Developers, ensuring the quality and performance of marketing web properties while contributing to design and build efforts in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee the tactical execution of web development and UI design, including sprint-level delivery and design reviews
- Serve as Product Owner for portfolio applications, ensuring security, accessibility, and regulatory compliance
- Lead Agile sprint planning and manage day-to-day team operations, including performance reviews and individual development plans
Required qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional web design and front-end build experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Figma and Webflow
- Deep experience in building and governing design systems across multiple product lines
- Demonstrated technical/design management experience leading a team of 3 or more designers
- Experience in the financial services or insurance sector with a focus on web properties
