Job Summary
Designing and building the backend for aggregated Web3 trading, the full-time Web3 Backend Engineer will focus on routing, quoting, and market maker integration to enhance trading efficiency in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build the backend for aggregated Web3 trading, integrating liquidity across chains, DEXs, and market makers
- Develop routing and best-path selection to optimize price, slippage, fees, and fill probability
- Manage the on-chain transaction lifecycle end to end, ensuring high success rates during heavy load and network congestion
Required qualifications
- Experience designing and shipping low-latency, high-concurrency backend systems, with strong proficiency in Go
- Proven background in building production on-chain trading systems, understanding the full transaction lifecycle on both EVM and non-EVM chains
- Knowledge of DEX pool models and pricing, with experience in routing, quote aggregation, or trade execution in an aggregator
- Familiarity with AI coding agents and their application in team workflows
- Bonus: Experience with market maker systems, quote engines, or order management
