Weekend Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing telehealth medical group, the fully remote Weekend Care Nurse Practitioner will deliver acute care to members with emergent conditions, diagnose complex medical issues, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team while working four 10-hour shifts per week, including one weekend shift per month.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Care OnDemand visits, evaluating and diagnosing acute illnesses, ordering diagnostic tests, and establishing care plans
• Coordinate care with the member's care team, including PCPs, specialists, and family members to ensure a collaborative care approach
• Utilize and provide feedback on the electronic health information system while potentially expanding responsibilities to support new clinical initiatives

Required qualifications

• At least three years of experience as an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) in urgent care, emergency medicine, or primary care
• Active RN and APRN licenses or Physician Assistant license in good standing, with the ability to obtain licenses in required states
• Current BLS certification
• Willingness to work four 10-hour shifts, including one weekend shift per month, from 11am-9pm EST
• Experience with telehealth video platforms is preferred
