Job Summary
A company is looking for a Weekend News Editor.
Key Responsibilities
- Edit, produce, and publish articles for the news and trending team
- Attend content meetings three days per week
- Occasionally assign articles to staff and freelance writers
Required Qualifications
- At least 3 years of experience editing in the food and beverage space, preferably for a digital brand
- Experience in the news space, especially editing experience, is strongly preferred
- Extensive knowledge of cooking, recipes, and different kinds of cuisines
- Knowledge of and experience in implementing SEO best practices
- Comfortable with content management systems and working remotely
