Job Summary
To support a growing telemedicine practice, the full-time West Region Nurse Practitioner will manage the continuity of care for a panel of adult patients with opioid use disorder, providing assessment and treatment remotely while collaborating with a clinical team.
Key responsibilities:
- Provide assessment and ongoing treatment for up to 275 adults with opioid use disorder, including initial treatment and stabilization
- Diagnose opioid use disorder and co-occurring mental health conditions, managing care through telemedicine
- Participate in clinical team meetings and quality improvement activities, collaborating with physicians and therapists
Required qualifications:
- Valid license to practice medicine and DEA license in the home state, with eligibility to obtain licenses in multiple states
- At least 1 year of experience prescribing buprenorphine in a relevant medical practice
- Experience with telehealth services is preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to build effective provider-patient relationships
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is preferred
