To support a growing national litigation firm, the fully remote West Virginia Licensed Insurance Defense Attorney will manage insurance defense matters, evaluate claims, and develop tailored defense strategies while maintaining an active caseload.
Key responsibilities
- Manage insurance defense matters from assignment through resolution
- Develop defense strategies and draft litigation documents, including pleadings and motions
- Communicate with insurance carriers, insureds, and opposing counsel while pursuing early resolution opportunities
Required qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Admission to the West Virginia Bar
- 4+ years of insurance defense experience
- Strong civil litigation background
- Experience working with insurance carriers and/or insured parties
