Wholesale Operations Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting Wholesale Operations, the part-time contract Wholesale Operations Associate Analyst will validate, settle, and confirm energy commodity transactions while ensuring accurate data in the risk system and assisting with invoicing and financial reporting in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Validate, settle, and confirm energy commodity transactions, resolving discrepancies as needed
• Assist with invoicing, accounts payable and receivable, and monthly financial close processes
• Coordinate with various departments including Accounting, Treasury, and Risk to ensure accurate financial reporting

Required qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field
• Up to two years of relevant experience in financial operations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially spreadsheets
• Experience in the energy industry or financial accounting preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
