Windows Application Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Windows Application Engineer to support federal civilian agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configuring and supporting daily application management tasks, troubleshooting issues, deploying changes, and optimizing performance settings
- Monitoring the health of applications and responding to alerts
- Working closely with application owners and software engineers to identify requirements and implement projects
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a related field
- Minimum of eight years of experience deploying, configuring, and troubleshooting applications using Windows Server and IIS
- Experience managing and configuring Windows applications using F5 BigIP and scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, Bash, Java, or Ruby
- Experience with security standards and technologies, such as TLS/SSL certificates, access and authentication technologies, and NIST guidelines
- Preferred qualifications include experience with Enterprise SQL Server, .Net, and web development languages
