Windows Systems Administrator

Job Summary

To enhance the performance of Windows Server operating systems, the full-time remote Windows Systems Administrator will install, maintain, and administer server software while ensuring high system performance and reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate user requests for server operations and support, developing comprehensive policies and procedures for server infrastructure
• Monitor daily system performance and inform management regarding the status relative to performance guidelines
• Assist with IT server management functions, including configuration, installation, maintenance, and performance tuning of server hardware and software

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent experience of at least five years
• Minimum three years of direct experience with server support and implementation, particularly with Windows Server operating systems
• Enterprise-level knowledge of configuring, tuning, monitoring, and managing server software and hardware
• Experience managing IIS Web Server platforms, application pools, and SSL certificates
• Familiarity with Windows Failover Cluster, load-balancing, and Distributed File System
