Wireless Network Engineer

Job Summary

To support a large enterprise network, the full-time Wireless Network Engineer will design, manage, and optimize wireless networks across multiple retail locations, ensuring high performance and security while collaborating with various engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design and standardize wireless networks for geographically distributed retail locations, ensuring scalability and alignment with business needs
• Perform wireless site surveys and RF spectrum analysis to optimize coverage and performance in high-density environments
• Troubleshoot complex wireless connectivity issues and partner with teams to enhance network security and reliability

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with 802.11 wireless standards and 802.1X authentication
• 3+ years of experience with Layer 2/Layer 3 networking fundamentals related to wireless integration
• 2+ years of experience with enterprise network OEM hardware such as Cisco, Meraki, or Aruba
• 2+ years of experience with wireless design and survey tools like Ekahau or AirMagnet
• 2+ years of experience with programming or scripting languages such as Python or Bash for network automation
