Wisconsin Licensed Coding Supervisor

Job Summary

To oversee the daily operations of charge capture staff, the full-time Wisconsin Licensed Coding Supervisor will manage workflow, conduct human resource functions, and serve as a resource for charge capture issues in a primarily remote position with occasional onsite presence required.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily charge capture operations, resolving issues in collaboration with various stakeholders
• Provide coverage and support to the Charge Capture Manager while mentoring the Supervisor I team
• Recruit, train, and evaluate charge capture staff, ensuring compliance with operational protocols and regulations

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• 7 years of relevant experience
• Coding certification (CPC, CCS-P) and/or Health Information Management credential (RHIT, RHIA)
• Experience in multi-specialty professional billing coding and charge capture
• Previous supervisory or lead experience preferred
