Job Summary

Supporting gas distribution projects in Green Bay, Wisconsin, the part-time Wisconsin Licensed Gas Distribution Designer will prepare design drawings and project deliverables with a focus on safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction, while working on a hybrid schedule that allows for remote flexibility.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare design drawings and construction-related documents for natural gas distribution projects
• Interpret sketches, specifications, and utility records to develop accurate design deliverables
• Perform pre-design and pre-construction site visits to verify existing conditions and gather field information

Required qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in gas distribution, utility design, or related drafting/design work preferred
• Strong experience using Computer-Aided Design software, such as AutoCAD or similar design tools
• Ability to perform field visits and translate field conditions into accurate design documents
• Familiarity with client-specific utility design platforms or the ability to quickly learn new design software
• Understanding of utility design standards, construction drawings, and project documentation
