Job Summary
A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
- Review inpatient hospital medical records and properly code the charts
- Meet or exceed high quality and productivity standards to provide exceptional coding services
- Communicate and collaborate with inpatient coders and managers to address client needs
Required Qualifications
- Current CCS, RHIA, RHIT through AHIMA or CPC through AAPC coding credentials
- 3 or more years of inpatient facility coding experience
- 3 years of ICD-10 PCS coding experience
- Access to high-speed internet and workstation
- Epic experience is a plus
