Wisconsin Licensed Rate Setting Analyst

Job Summary

To support a large Medicaid long-term care program, the full-time Senior Long-Term Care Rate Setting Analyst will lead the development and maintenance of rate setting methodologies, utilizing advanced data analysis to evaluate costs and trends, while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and documentation of rate setting models for long-term care programs
• Use advanced analytical techniques to evaluate costs, trends, and reimbursement outcomes
• Monitor State and Federal policy changes affecting Wisconsin Medicaid and assess their impact

Required qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in business analysis, financial modeling, or Medicaid policy analysis
• Strong data expertise and understanding of rate-setting impacts on Managed Care Organizations (MCOs)
• Advanced skills in Excel and/or analytical tools such as R, SAS, or SPSS
• Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Public Policy, Economics, or a related field; master's degree preferred
• Experience interpreting public policy within healthcare and/or Wisconsin Medicaid
