Job Summary
Offering a part-time, remote opportunity, the Wisconsin Licensed Registered Nurse will perform professional nursing activities to support patient care, including assessments, treatment planning, and patient advocacy, on an as-needed basis.
Key responsibilities:
- Complete initial patient assessments and document pertinent data according to hospital policy
- Act as a patient advocate by explaining rights, obtaining necessary consents, and ensuring privacy
- Participate in care planning and modify treatment plans based on patient progress and needs
Required qualifications:
- Wisconsin Licensed Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license in good standing
- Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred
- American Health Association Healthcare Provider CPR certification required within 30 days of hire
- Formal training in management of aggressive patients required within 60 days of hire
- Previous psychiatric experience with children, adolescents, and adults preferred
