Wisconsin Licensed Security Analyst

Job Summary

To support a growing Security Operations Center, the full-time Entry Level Security Analyst SOC Monitoring & Alert Triage will monitor security dashboards, perform alert triage, and document security events while working remotely within Wisconsin.

Key responsibilities

• Regularly review and monitor SOC tools to ensure operational health and visibility
• Monitor real-time security alerts, perform initial triage, and escalate issues as needed
• Document security events and investigations accurately within the ticketing system

Required qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in IT or a related field
• Basic understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S) and operating systems (Windows and Linux)
• Strong attention to detail and curiosity for investigating anomalies and logs
• Good written communication skills for documenting technical findings
• Preferred: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
