Job Summary
Leading the implementation and support of clinical information systems, the full-time Wisconsin Licensed Senior Epic Analyst will manage projects, provide analysis and design solutions, and ensure effective use of applications in a remote capacity.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as a subject matter expert and leader for specific content issues and solutions related to Epic HIM
- Conduct project management activities, including analysis, design, implementation, and education for assigned application software
- Consult extensively with clinical staff and administrative users to improve patient safety and departmental workflow
Required qualifications
- EPIC Certification in Health Information Management and relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, clinical area, or related field, or five+ years of relevant healthcare/IT experience
- Minimum of three years' experience in implementing clinical information systems
- ITIL and HIMSS certifications to be completed within one year of hire
- Strong knowledge of hospital clinical and administrative operations and the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
