A global leader in language, search and social technology needs applicants for an opening for a Work at Home Bilingual Catalan-English Level 1 Linguist.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Writing or editing rules for grammar and other purposes
- Writing and reviewing specifications and scheduling projects
- Developing patterns for testing application rules
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor degree in Linguistics or Computational Linguistics (or higher)
- Native speaker of Catalan
- High proficiency in English
- Linguistic skills should include morphology and syntax
- Aptitude for computational tasks, e.g., using concordance (linguistic) tools and writing scripts
- Experience with advanced use of applications such as Excel macros
