Work at Home Principal Detection Engineer

Job Summary

A computer security company is seeking a Work at Home Principal Detection Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Developing creative and resourceful ways to detect threats on Windows, Mac, and/or Linux systems
• Moving past the traditional detection model based on static or atomic indicators of compromise
• Expanding our detection platform

Qualifications for this position include:

• OS internals (Windows, Mac, and/or Linux)
• Information security operations, incident response, and intrusion/event analysis
• Cyber threat tactics, techniques, procedures, and tradecraft
• Scripting languages
• Git, or other shared repository technologies, and team-based software development and build processes
• Dynamic or behavioral analysis of binaries
