Job Summary
A cyber security company has a current position open for a Work at Home Quality Assurance and Malware Threat Researcher.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Performing dynamic analysis of malware using debuggers and system tools to determine entrenchment, file system activity, and network activity
- Performing static analysis of malware to determine functionality of our product
- Identifying process/thread/kernel manipulation in malicious code and interact with running programs to perform analysis
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relative real-world experience is required
- Must have 3 to 5 years experience analyzing malware using dynamic and/or static methods
- Must have experience with programming languages: Assembly language (x86) or C/C++
- Must have experience in software reverse engineering or software development
- Must have experience as a Malware Analyst
- Must have detailed understanding of how network-based attacks work at the operating system and/or protocol level
