Work from Home LIMS Software Engineer

Job Summary

A staffing agency is searching for a person to fill their position for a Work from Home LIMS Software Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Build and maintain development code for STARLIMS, HP-TRIM, and Electronic Lab Notebook systems
• Develop, maintain, and enhance LIMS and laboratory IT solutions utilizing established or newly selected technologies
• Prepare custom reports and dashboards for various user levels

Required Skills:

• College degree in a technical field, or equivalent, with a minimum of 7 years of work experience
• 3 years experience in software development environments using object-oriented programming languages and current technologies
• 7 years experience with use, configuration, and customization of a LIMS System
• Familiarity and experience with writing and executing software validations in a regulated environment
• Familiarity with the functions of a clinical laboratory and have experience in laboratory workflow automation and software validation
• Effective written and oral communication skills
