Workday Extend Developer

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Workday Extend Developer will design and develop custom Workday Extend solutions, lead integration efforts, and apply software engineering expertise across various Workday modules to enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop custom Workday Extend solutions that address business needs and elevate the employee experience
• Lead integration efforts as the technical liaison, authoring detailed specifications and architectural designs for global deployment
• Drive continuous improvement through rigorous analysis, solution design, implementation, testing, and iterative refinement

Required qualifications

• 7+ years of Workday experience, including 3+ years designing and building Workday Extend applications
• 4+ years developing Workday integrations using Orchestrate, EIB, Core Connectors, and Workday Studio
• Solid knowledge of Workday functional areas such as HCM, Payroll, and Benefits
• Proficiency in web service integrations (SOAP, REST, WSDL, XML) and XSLT; familiarity with Python or JavaScript is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent experience
