Workday Financials Consultant

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Senior Workday Financials Consultant will provide post-production support, optimize financial solutions, and drive transformation initiatives for Government and Higher Education clients within the AMS team.

Key responsibilities

• Design scalable and compliant Workday Financials solutions aligned with client objectives and best practices
• Provide end-to-end production support across the Workday Financials platform, ensuring alignment with business requirements and operational processes
• Advise clients on financial governance, budget control, and internal controls while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive solutions

Required qualifications

• Functional expertise in Workday Financials configuration and solution design
• Strong understanding of financial accounting, commitment accounting, and related business processes within Workday
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex production support issues across multiple functional areas
• Knowledge of accounting principles, internal controls, and security design within Workday
• Experience supporting post-production Workday Financials environments and continuous improvement efforts
