Job Summary
Acting independently as a functional and technical subject matter expert, the full-time remote Applications Systems Specialist for Workday HCM will lead projects, optimize HR technology solutions, and provide expert support for HCM Core, Talent, and Performance applications within a healthcare environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead projects and system enhancements, ensuring effective implementation of Workday solutions
- Investigate and resolve application and system configuration issues, collaborating with vendors for effective troubleshooting
- Share knowledge and mentor team members, fostering a collaborative environment and supporting new staff integration
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience
- 7 years of experience with enterprise platforms (EHRs/ITSM/ERPs)
- Epic/Workday/Application certification(s) and Lean Green Belt certification or ability to achieve
- Ability to act independently with minimal oversight and advise less experienced team members
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities across all organizational levels
