Workday People Systems Specialist
Job Summary
As a full-time remote Senior Specialist, People Systems, the successful candidate will manage Workday configurations, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and serve as a subject matter expert across Core HCM and Hire-to-Retire processes to enhance operational capabilities within the People Systems team.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the People Systems delivery engine, providing insights and tools to support strategic partnerships
- Own and optimize Workday configurations and business processes to ensure system stability and scalability
- Utilize reporting and analytics tools to analyze workforce data and support strategic HR decisions
Required qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in HRIS or People Systems with specialization in Workday across the full Hire-to-Retire lifecycle
- Hands-on mastery of Workday functional configuration, business process design, and security frameworks
- Proficiency in advanced Excel modeling and business intelligence tools like Power BI
- Experience with process re-engineering and knowledge of RPA or workflow tools (e.g., UiPath, Alteryx)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, or a related field; Workday certifications are a plus
