Workers Comp Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Analyzing complex general liability claims, the full-time Workers Comp Claims Examiner will adjudicate claims, manage litigation processes, and coordinate vendor referrals while working remotely in jurisdictions including AL, FL, GA, MS, NC, SC, and TN.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzes and processes complex claims to determine exposure and manages claims to timely resolution
• Oversees the litigation process to ensure efficient claims resolution
• Leads team meetings, assigns accountability, and provides support to team lead with workload reviews

Required qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
• Knowledge of jurisdictional requirements across multiple states
• Home state licensing required
