Workers Compensation Claim Representative

Job Summary

Managing moderate value claims, the full-time Workers Compensation Claim Representative II will handle various coverage types, conduct investigations, maintain customer contact, and ensure compliance with state and federal laws.

Key responsibilities

• Perform timely claim tasks and document files to ensure fair resolution in accordance with legal requirements
• Verify coverage and evaluate subrogation potential by gathering necessary information for informed decision-making
• Conduct thorough investigations and analyze claims to formulate action plans based on damages and injuries

Required qualifications

• Minimum of two years of commercial insurance and/or claim handling experience
• Completion of courses in designations such as INS or AIC is preferred
• Ability to obtain and maintain state adjusting license requirements
• Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent education and/or commercial insurance experience
• Additional training in commercial insurance, medical, and/or building terminology is desirable
