Supervising a small team, the fully remote Lead Workers Compensation Claims Adjuster will manage an individual case load, demonstrate significant claims handling skills, and participate in hiring and training to foster a culture of performance and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise a small Workers Compensation team and manage workloads to motivate performance
- Deliver high-quality service while handling individual claims and communicating effectively with clients, carriers, and brokers
- Identify coaching opportunities and position team members for successful development
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Minimum of 10 years of hands-on workers compensation claims adjusting experience, including lost-time/indemnity and litigation
- Appropriately licensed and/or certified in all states where claims are handled
- Knowledge of all team member-related functions
