Job Summary

Investigating and settling complex workers' compensation subrogation claims, the fully remote Senior Subrogation Claims Adjuster will manage high-exposure cases, evaluate coverage and liability, and interact with various stakeholders to ensure proper claim resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate, evaluate, and settle complex claims with minimal supervision, exercising judgment to determine the appropriate course of action
• Communicate action plans clearly and present strategies for concluding claims, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and regulatory requirements
• Pursue excess insurance recoveries and manage a full caseload of increased severity claims

Required qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience handling lost time workers' compensation subrogation and third-party negligence claims
• Experience in multi-jurisdictional claims
• High school diploma and 5 years of related claims experience required
• Extensive knowledge of industry standards and practices
• Proficiency with claims and business software
