Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Analyzing Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims, the full-time Workers Compensation Claims Examiner will adjudicate complex customer claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with claimants and clients, with flexibility for remote work options.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to achieve timely resolutions through investigation and information gathering
• Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority
• Communicate claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 2+ years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
• Knowledge of New Jersey jurisdiction preferred
