Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Analyzing workers compensation claims remotely, the full-time Claims Examiner I will adjudicate complex customer claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate claim activities while ensuring adherence to service expectations and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and gather information to determine claim exposure and resolve claims in a timely manner
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority and communicate effectively with claimants and clients
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to requests for direction professionally

Required qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• Professional certification applicable to the line of business preferred
• Knowledge of licensing and jurisdiction requirements for FL, GA, NC, and SC
