Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Job Summary

Analyzing Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims, the full-time Workers Compensation Claims Examiner will adjudicate complex customer claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate with clients and claimants while working remotely across various jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to achieve timely resolutions through investigation and information gathering
• Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority
• Communicate claim activity and processing updates to claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
• Heavy litigation experience required
• Knowledge of jurisdictions: DE, IL, LA, MO, NJ, OK, TN, TX
• Licensing in home state plus DE, LA, OK, TX required
