Workers Compensation Claims Examiner

Job Summary

To analyze Workers Compensation claims for clients across multiple jurisdictions, the full-time salaried Workers Compensation Claims Examiner will adjudicate complex claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate effectively with claimants and clients while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims to ensure timely resolutions through comprehensive investigations
• Negotiating settlements of claims within designated authority limits
• Communicating claim activity and processing updates with claimants and clients

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
• Knowledge of Workers Compensation jurisdictions: MA, CT, RI, NH, PA, NJ (VT is a plus)
• Licensing in CT, RI, and NH or reciprocal states (VT is a plus)
• Professional certification relevant to the line of business preferred
