Job Summary

Analyzing Lost-Time Workers Compensation claims for clients in MA, CT, NH, RI, and VT, the full-time Workers Compensation Claims Examiner will adjudicate complex claims, negotiate settlements, and communicate claim activities while working remotely or onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to achieve timely resolutions by investigating and gathering necessary information
• Negotiate settlements of claims within designated authority limits
• Communicate claim activities and processing updates to claimants and clients effectively

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent education and experience
• Knowledge of Workers Compensation jurisdictions: MA, CT, NH, RI, VT
• Licensing in VT, CT, NH, and RI is required
• Professional certification related to the line of business preferred
