Workers Compensation Claims Representative

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Workers Compensation Claims Representative "TEMP".

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a queue of Workers' Compensation accounts and ensure timely submission of claims
• Contact relevant parties to gather injury and insurance information, and support patients with inquiries
• Review payments and denials, writing appeals as necessary, while maintaining communication throughout the claims process

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; some college coursework preferred
• 1-5 years of related experience in medical billing, claims adjudication, or workers' compensation
• Strong customer service background with a positive attitude
• Proficient in data entry and MS Office applications
• Ability to manage a large workload and adapt to changing situations
