Workers Compensation Claims Representative

Job Summary

Managing complex workers compensation claims from initial investigation through resolution, the full-time Claims Representative will utilize their experience to make coverage, liability, and settlement decisions while working in a hybrid or remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee complex and higher-exposure workers comp claims with minimal supervision
• Conduct thorough investigations and evaluate liability, damages, reserves, and settlement strategies
• Negotiate effectively with insureds, claimants, attorneys, and other involved parties

Required Qualifications

• Prior experience handling large, complex, or higher-exposure claims
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Insurance, or a related field
• Associate in Claims (AIC) designation or equivalent insurance education
• Proficiency with claims technology and computer-based tools
• Experience handling claims in Nebraska, Kansas, and/or Missouri is preferred
