Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist

Job Summary

As a full-time Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist working remotely, the candidate will manage high-volume outbound calls to investigate, bill, and maximize payments on medical claims for hospitals and medical providers.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve troubled or denied workers' compensation claims through outbound communication with employers, insurance representatives, and patients
• Submit bills and documentation to insurance companies to ensure maximized payments for clients
• Participate in special projects to achieve team goals and enhance client success

Required qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Technical proficiency to navigate multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously
• Experience with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing is a plus
• Ability to maintain strong performance in a fast-paced environment with productivity metrics
• Organizational skills to effectively multi-task and manage workload
