Workers Compensation Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Workers Compensation Claims Specialist will make high-volume outbound calls to investigate, bill, and maximize payments on medical claims for hospitals and medical providers.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve troubled or denied workers' compensation claims through outbound calls to various stakeholders
• Submit bills and proper documentation to insurance companies to ensure maximized payments to clients
• Participate in special projects to achieve team goals and enhance client success

Required qualifications

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Technical proficiency to manage multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously
• Experience with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing is a plus
• Ability to maintain strong performance metrics in a fast-paced environment
• Organizational skills to effectively multi-task and manage workload
