Workers Compensation Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Managing a portfolio of moderate to high complexity commercial claims, the full-time Workers Compensation Claims Specialist will investigate and resolve claims while providing exceptional customer service, with opportunities for remote work available.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and investigate commercial claims by verifying policy coverage, developing resolution strategies, and authorizing disbursements
• Provide professional customer service by maintaining timely communication with insureds, claimants, and business partners
• Conduct focused investigations to determine compensability and liability, collaborating with internal and external resources as needed

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Minimum of four years of relevant experience in claim handling
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Insurance Adjuster License within 90 days of hire, where applicable
• Completion of the CNA Claim Training Program may be considered with two years of claim handling experience
• Professional designations such as CPCU are a plus
