Workers Compensation Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Workers Compensation Claims Specialist will make high-volume outbound calls to investigate and bill medical claims, ensuring maximized payments for clients while participating in team projects to achieve goals.

Key responsibilities:

• Investigate and resolve denied workers' compensation claims through high-volume outbound calls
• Submit bills and documentation to insurance companies to ensure accurate payments
• Participate in special projects to support team goals and client success

Required qualifications:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Technical proficiency to work on multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously
• Experience with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing (a plus, but not required)
• Ability to maintain strong performance in a fast-paced environment with productivity metrics
• Organizational skills to effectively multi-task and manage workload
