Workers Compensation Claims Specialist

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Workers Compensation Claims Specialist will make high-volume outbound calls to investigate, bill, and maximize payments on medical claims for clients, ensuring efficient resolution of denied claims.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct high-volume outbound calls to investigate and resolve workers' compensation claims
• Submit bills and documentation to insurance companies to ensure maximized payments for clients
• Participate in special projects to achieve team goals and enhance client success

Required qualifications

• Experience with Coordination of Benefits and a general understanding of insurance billing (preferred but not required)
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Technical proficiency to navigate multiple computer screens and software applications simultaneously
• Ability to maintain strong performance in a fast-paced environment with productivity metrics
• Organizational skills to effectively manage multiple tasks
