Job Summary
Dedicated and passionate, the full-time Youth Care Worker will engage unaccompanied children in a safe environment, support their developmental needs, and facilitate educational and social activities while working onsite in San Benito, TX.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure a safe home environment for unaccompanied children and provide supervision to meet ratio requirements
- Encourage and assist children in developing personal skills and participating in educational and social activities
- Collaborate with team members to maintain tracking documents and adhere to case plans for assigned children
Required qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent with 12 months of experience working with young people
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Valid driver's license and knowledge of MS Office 365
- Proactive approach with conflict mediation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
